Since 1972, the Chico Area Flyfishers club has been involved in community activities which support and promote fly fishing. The Chico Area Flyfishers also support and participate in projects throughout Northern California which enhance fisheries and fish habitat. The club works with youth and adults alike to foster a love of fishing and the great outdoors. Our General Meeting will start at 6:30pm Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Lakeview Pavilion (2565 California Park Drive, Chico). Member, Ed Bruno, will present strategies for completing the California Heritage Trout Challenge in Northern California. Ed has fished just about every rivulet of water that flows in Northern California and most of the rivulets that flow in the rest of California. He hold certificate number 513 in the California Heritage Trout Challenge. Early bird sales for our 53rd Annual Fundraising Dinner are currently going on through January 31st! The crab feed will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 4pm at the Chico Masonic Family Center (1110 W. East Avenue, Chico). You can register online or download and mail in your registration form. Early bird sales go through January 31, 2025. This is a great place to get guided trips and gear for a great price all the while raising money for all the community service and conservation projects we are involved with.
