Chico Area Flyfishers (CAF) is privileged to support a Chico Chapter of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF). Those who have served our Country in the various branches of the Armed Services and have earned a disability rating of any amount are eligible to participate in PHWFF activities. Many members of CAF have not only served in the Armed Services, but are also volunteers to teach their fly fishing knowledge and expertise with disabled veterans. Fly fishing provides an incredible avenue for the veterans and volunteers to not only enjoy fishing, but develop deep personal relationships.
Disabled veterans are encouraged to show up at the meetings, we can help you get registered. If you would like more information about the Chico Chapter of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, contact Stan Thomas, Director (530) 518-3715 or Pete Wiik, Assistant Director, (530) 520-9495.
